2UP does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer. It does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, accounts, or third-party SDKs.
2UP works with files and folders that you choose to access. File browsing, previews, searches, metadata changes, image and media processing, archive operations, and other file operations happen locally on your Mac. Your files are not uploaded to the developer.
Folder permissions granted to 2UP can be managed or revoked in the app and in macOS System Settings.
Optional Finder integration uses macOS Automation and Accessibility permissions to read Finder windows and selections, adopt Finder windows as 2UP panels, and observe newly opened Finder windows. This information is used locally for those features and is not collected or transmitted.
If you choose to run a user script or open a file in an external application, that script or application operates under its own behaviour and privacy policy. 2UP does not transmit script output to the developer.
Apple may collect anonymised usage data and crash reports through the App Store, subject to your device settings. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for details.
If you have questions about this policy, contact Matt Sephton at apps@gingerbeardman.com.
