Katana does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All work happens locally on your Mac and on the SD card you open.
Katana only reads and writes the SD card or folder you explicitly choose in an open panel. It remembers your recent cards using macOS security-scoped bookmarks so they can be reopened without asking again. Scan caches, display sort preferences, and duplicate marks are stored locally on your Mac; content hash sidecars are written to the card itself.
Katana does not connect to the internet. The Dreamcast title database is bundled inside the app.
Katana does not use any analytics or tracking services.
